About our Club...
Cache Valley Figure Skating Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization
recognized by the USFSA. Our mission is to promote the amateur
sport of figure skating. Any child or adult is welcome to
be a part of our club. For information about club dues,
club ice, and other club membership questions please contact

*To encourage
volunteerism and spread out the club related work and duties (and fun!)
over the entire membership, there is a volunteer/service requirement of
15 hours for each member*.
*additional service hours required for a reduced price USU/Service
membership to the club.
Heather Savage will have a volunteer binder
for recording your service hours at each club ice.
Payment
Method: Membership fees which include club ice may be
split into payment options (see below) if needed. Dues for all
other membership categories are payable at once.
Annual – paid in full - due July 1, 2008
Bi-Annual – half due on July 1, 2008 and the other half due
January 1, 2009
Quarterly – 1/4 of membership dues payable four times a year: on
July 1, October 1, January 1, and April 1.

Some membership types may not include all benefits listed below.
1.
USFSA Membership:
Full annual membership to USFSA including a one-year
subscription to Skating magazine (one subscription per family).
2.
Private Club Ice:
one (1) one-hour private skating session weekly*.

These sessions are private, not
open to the public, reserved only for club members (whose
memberships include club ice), and not transferable to any other
party. Any other party wishing to skate on club ice would pay a
session fee of $9, subject to space availability.
*Certain weeks of the year will not have a
club ice session depending on rink or club commitments,
holidays, or other potential scheduling conflicts. A schedule of
club ice dates and subsequent revisions will be posted on a
regular basis.
3.
Ice Shows & Exhibitions:
CVFSC membership includes opportunities to participate in club
ice shows and exhibitions at prices lower than non-members would
pay. Some restrictions may apply, to be determined by the CVFSC
Board on an event by event basis.
4.
Competitions:
The privilege of representing CVFSC at local, regional and
national skating competitions entered.
5.
Testing:
CVFSC members receive the reduced Interclub Rate for Test
Sessions.
6.
Club Activities:
Participation in club activities.
7.
Lockers:
Private lockers at the facility, available on a monthly rental
through the club.
8.
Clinics:
Reduced rate for clinics, lower than the rate charged to
non-members.
9.
Club Apparel:
Reduced rate for club apparel such as jackets and other
merchandise which may be offered from time to time.
10.
Voting, Club Meetings and Board
Participation: A full club member is
able to vote in membership meetings, and hold office in the
CVFSC board. See category descriptions for details. For Junior
Members (under the age of 18), their parent member
representative holds these rights.
